This wedding was amazing in every way. I had the pleasure of meeting with Alex and Kristy a couple of weeks earlier for their engagement shoot, and it didn't take long before I knew their love was extra special. They've been together for 8 years, and I'm pretty sure it's the kind of love that grows stronger each day. A kind of fairytale love - not in the damsel in distress kind of way - but in the way that there is a happily ever after, each and every day. Leaves and Fishes is an incredible wedding venue - amazing service, beautiful grounds and unbelievably delicious food -- everything ran so smoothly for their wedding; from Kristy and her bridesmaids getting ready in one of the Boathouses, to the private and personal ceremony on the lawn, and finishing with a relaxed and fun reception.
They day included so many personal touches -- handmade wedding arch by Alex, succulents as thank you gifts for the guests from Alex's mum, and Kristy's sister sang the most beautiful song at the reception.
All in all -- Kristy and Alex, together with their wonderful families and friends had the most perfect day -- and I was lucky enough to capture all of their special moments.
